Pro Kabaddi 2018 Match 69: Gujarat Fortune Giants vs Bengaluru Bulls
The 69th match of Pro Kabaddi 2018 was fought between Gujarat Fortune Giants and the Bengaluru Bulls. Both the teams came into this match after winning their last three matches. This would be a very promising game. The Bulls would not want to let go of their winning streak. The Giants have yet to lose a match on their home turf since season 5.
Bengaluru started off strong. They took the first raid point as well as a tackle. They just would not allow the Giants to find their bearings. But the Giants were not one to back down. Five minutes into the game and Sachin executed a successful raid. He got rid of the Bengaluru Bulls’ star raider, Pawan Sehrawat.
In the next raid, Don Geon Lee got rid of Kashiling. He was another main raider on the Bulls’ side. These successful raids helped the Gujarat Fortune Giants move forward. They got a 1- point lead with a score of 6-5.
With nine minutes to halftime in the Pro Kabaddi 2018 match, the scoreboard read 8-5 in favour of the Gujarat Fortune Giants. The Bulls charged up their defence. They got the score to nine-all.
Two minutes before halftime, Pawan Shehrawat inflicted the first all out of the night on the home team. The scoreboard read 10-16, in favour of the Bulls. At halftime, the score was 12-18, in favour of the Bulls.
In the second half, the Giants came back with a bang. Five minutes in and Fortune Giants captain, Sunil, executed back to back dashes on Pawan Shehrawat and Rohit Kumar. He brought the score to 17-19.
With 10 minutes to go, Gujarat finally inflicted the first all-out on the Bengaluru Bulls. They finally got a 1- point lead. The scoreboard read 23-22.
The Pro Kabaddi 2018 match kept changing. It was hard to declare a victor even at 90 seconds remaining. The match ended in a tie.
